DELIVERY AND RETURNS
All deliveries are for working days (not including weekends and public holidays). Once an item is in stock it is usually shipped out within 24 hours. Deliveries to mainland UK address are a next day service (some exceptions for certain Scottish Highlands and Islands).
Deliveries to mainland Europe are sent under insured post and take from 3-5 days to arrive. Please allow a few extra days for clearance at customs.
Deliveries to the Americas and the rest of the world take from 7-10 days to arrive. They are usually shipped on the first available flight.
International priority shipping is available to some destinations. Please call 0800 8250118 to enquire. A surcharge usually applies.
Deliveries to Mainland UK address can be sent for a Saturday delivery. A surcharge usually applies. Please call 0800 8250118 to enquire, as some designs are not always in stock at all times.
If you have to return your order for any reason, please do so as follows:-
(a) Repack the item/s in the same box or package it arrived in.
(b) Please enclose either a copy of the invoice or a separate note with your name and address, stating whether you require an exchange or a refund.
(c) For goods valued at less than £250 please return them to us by 'Standard Parcel Post' at your local Post Office. It is not necessary to pay for additional insurance.
(d) For goods valued at £250 to £500, please return them to us by Special Delivery Post. This method automatically insures the parcel for up to £500.
(e) For goods valued at over £500, please contact us by telephone for advice on how to proceed with the return.
(f) We usually receive returned parcels within two to three days and can replace or refund at that time, but please allow up to seven working days from the date we receive it back for refunds to be processed.
(g) Return delivery costs are only refunded in the event of an error on our part. We will not refund costs in excess of the methods advised above.
(h) If you require a different size, we do not charge to send a replacement to you, although you do need to return the original to us first. Please let us know before returning any item.
In the unlikely event that a product is faulty, erroneously sent or damaged during delivery we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund upon receipt of the returned product with proof of purchase and details of the fault or damage.
If the item sent is a good fit, but just not what you were looking for, we will provide a refund for the cost of the item once it is returned to us as long as it is done so in the same condition you received it within 7 working days of receipt of the parcel from our courier. (special extensions can apply, please call for details)
Notification of any defect must be made within 14 days of the product being delivered to you.
We will endeavour to refund within 7 days of the returned product being received by Higgs Leathers to the account originally used to purchase the product.
The refund will be for the cost of the garment only (without delivery costs). Customers pay for initial delivery cost and return delivery costs to us unless an error has been made by Higgs Leathers. We will cover the cost of delivery for any replacement requested.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
